Cheap fleets and big explosions

Costing only 30million isk per ship last night was my first real outing in Po'Hac's.
Sitting in the Exequror for the first time in years I was half expecting we'd get 3 jumps run into a battlecruiser and get murdered. Instead we managed a roam lasting just over an hour, and kills totally almost a 1billion isk! Loosing just one rupture in the progress.

Straight out mercy kill, we were sitting on the highsec gate whilst our FC tried to find a route onwards.
Small gang on a gate, what the shield curse was doing with the Armour gang I'll never understand...

Then what I expected to be the end of us, a small gang sitting inside a medium faction warfare plex. They had    even numbers logistics, and also blackbird, and sitting right on the warp in was a Sacrilege Heavy Assault cruiser.
We sent three ruptures as a bait squad to get point, and start the fight, hoping that one would still have point when the gang arrived. As we warped in one of our ruptures was jammed, one exploded and the last was in structure burning. As I locked him my reps already overheated I didn't expect that he would hold together; but in true hero style we pulled him back from the brink and held the field. As the enemy Sacrilege exploded most of their gang scattered to the winds and we killed the remains and looted the field.

Flying home with our heads held high, and are cargo bays full of loots! Po'Hac's great Hac's

Working as intended.
The recent Cruiser updates, have been very well received for good reason, whilst it might seem like the T1 cruisers are overpowered at first look they aren't. If we had run into a gang consisting of similar numbers but flying T2 Heavy assault ships and a pair of logistics we would have been swatted like a fly, we wouldn't have the DPS to break their reps, or the reps to survive their DPS.
Which would be expected with the extra investment in skills and isk required to fly those ships.
